How unfortunate this contest isn’t open to Canadians. As a fan of The Runaways since 1976 it would have been really cool to be a part of the premier. I can’t wait to reminded of those days as a 15 year old, it really was such an exciting time to be a fan. I think initially it will be very emotional but I’m looking forward to it. I hope it is a huge success, The Runaways deserve it, even if it is 34 years late. Good things come to those who wait right?

I think this is very cool.for the runaways.they deserve a movie about there lives and careers,number 1 question.are they going to get back together now.now that there is a movie about them.I think so.enjoy the show..peace and be cool..ps.thanks for the pitcher joan,,

I wish I could joying the contest, but I’m from Brazil. Really sad that is not opened for Brazilians.
At least now you now that you have Brazilians fans, we are waiting for a Joan Jett show here.

I’m so excited that the premiere is in NYC. I was born here and still live here, and would love to experience the premiere as a 15 year old girl guitarist, NYer, and film lover.

Wow! What more could you ask for, I can’t wait to see the movie. I grew up listening to Rock n Roll and I finally got to see Joan Jett last year at Jacks Fourth Show and I must say she still knows how to Rock and still looks great! Rock on Joan, Rock on Runaways!

Hi everyone !
Of course, i won’t be able to make it as I live in France but it does’nt really matter..
So glad something brings back sweet memories of the time I used to be a Teenager, lost in his small village, who could listen to these albums, read “Circus”, every week or so as i had to get it posted from the USA to get news about the bands i Liked..

Joan is realy cool. I usually watch film “The Runaways” twice a month and it always amasing, ’cause I’ve found film about my internal world. In the deep of my soul, I understand, that it is realy mine. And this music is realy mine. Whole my life I tried to find my path. After this moment, when I’ve known Joan, I’ve understood, that her music will help me in future. And this is truth, ’cause if I feel pain, I listen Joan.
